Mica heaters are produced like a mica flat heater but without the casing. This makes the mica heater to be considered as an open heating element. These heaters are often used in food service equipment, packing machines, plastic and rubber manufacturing and heating tools.A mica heater is produced with high quality resistance wire, wound around a mica sheet sealed between two outer mica sheets that are assembled. The mica heater can be customized by shape, holes, cutouts, slots and built-in temperature sensors.
